My Approach


Psychotherapy is a process that involves the sharing and disclosure of personal difficulties and emotional experiences. I strive to create a space that feels warm, welcoming, and safe to share these experiences and feel heard. Throughout the process, I may ask probing questions, draw your attention to your emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and embodied experiences. I will not offer advice or concrete solutions, but rather will support you in gaining insight and developing tools to effectively approach the challenges you’re facing. 


Together, we will explore your internal world with the aim of gaining insight about you and your relational patterns, seeking a meaningful and healing experience, and developing skills to facilitate changes you would like to make in your life. 

Practicing from an eclectic therapeutic model, I draw on elements of Attachment-Focused Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Trauma Systems Therapy within the broader context of anti-oppressive, trauma-informed practice. My goal is to collaborate with you to build an affirming therapeutic relationship and facilitate the kind of warm and welcoming space that will allow you to explore and process your emotional experiences and work on self growth.
